Dear Sir or Madam,
I wanted to ask if Octenisept gel and wound spray can be used on the anus/rectum in case of an anal fissure? Could this potentially lead to toxic problems through the rectal mucosa or enter the bloodstream through the fissure?

Octenisept is approved for the treatment of the anogenital area and is safe to use. If you want to treat an anal fissure yourself, I have had good experiences with Hametum ointment, which works very well and quickly. Hopefully, you have had the diagnosis of an anal fissure confirmed by a doctor.
