Is the mole striking?

Hello, I have a raised mole at my hairline. I have noticed that it looks redder now, it doesn't hurt or itch. It looks like a pimple... Can you tell me what it is? Greetings
Hello,
Unfortunately, it's hard to say without actually seeing it. Your concern is likely whether it's dangerous or a sign that the mole has become malignant. Redness is not a typical characteristic of a "transformation from good to bad." So I would give you some reassurance for now, but I can't say for sure. Only a doctor's examination can bring you certainty, it doesn't necessarily have to be a dermatologist, as you may not be able to get an appointment quickly. Most general practitioners can also assess it well.
Redness indicates irritation or inflammation, for example, of a nearby hair follicle.
Signs of transformation are more likely growth and - you're absolutely right - color change, with red possibly just being a sign of increased blood flow caused by irritation, even unnoticed.
I hope I could help you a bit and wish you all the best.
