Proof of income tax from private individual from whom I purchase tickets.
December 4, 2018 | 25,00 EUR | answered by Steuerberater Knut Christiansen
Hello, I am a ticket reseller. My business is still just below 17,500€ this year, but I will exceed this amount next year and will have to pay the 7% sales tax. My question is how I should prove the purchase of my tickets, as this seems impossible for me since I mostly buy my tickets from private individuals who will not give me a receipt under any circumstances.
Dear inquirer,
Thank you for your inquiry, which I would like to answer as follows within the framework of an initial consultation.
In general, if you purchase tickets from private individuals who do not issue receipts, you can only record the purchase using self-made receipts. The self-made receipts should include the following information:
Payee with complete address
Type of expense
Date of expenditure
Cost
Reason for the self-made receipt
Date and your own signature
Ideally, you can provide proof of payment through a bank transfer.
Normally, self-made receipts should be the exception. Therefore, it is all the more important to keep the above records.
I hope this answers your question. If not, please feel free to ask for further clarification at no cost.
Kind regards,
Knut Christiansen
