Do withdrawals and deposits need to be filled out in lines 78-79 of the EÜR for the year 2011? If so, how do I calculate that, what all counts towards it? I have already determined my profit.
Dear inquirer,
Thank you for your inquiry, which I am happy to answer taking into account your input and the rules of this platform.
Please note that my explanation is based on the facts presented, and that adding, omitting, changing information, or the ambiguity of information can change the tax result.
The information in lines 78-79 is used to check whether excessive withdrawals according to § 4 para. 4a EStG have been made. An excessive withdrawal is the amount by which the withdrawals exceed the sum of the profit and deposits of the fiscal year. In the case of excessive withdrawals, the interest on debts will only be partially deductible.
Private withdrawals include withdrawals resulting from the private use of business assets or services and cash withdrawals, such as privately made cash withdrawals from the business bank account or cash payments. Private deposits include the transfer of assets from private assets to business assets and cash deposits, such as privately made cash deposits into the business bank account or cash deposits into the cash register.
Withdrawals and deposits that do not consist of cash are generally to be valued at fair value - possibly plus value-added tax.
I hope I could assist you.
If there is still uncertainty, please feel free to use the follow-up function.
Sincerely,
