Company car expenses

Hello,

I am currently working on my tax return (using ELSTER) for 2012.

As every year, I am pondering about my company car expenses.

The situation:
I work in an employed field service position for a financial services provider, but with a home office, therefore no commuting to a workplace (commuting allowance or 0.03% rule), but purely field service activities with a "home office" (which is easily recognized by the tax office).
I (or rather my employer through the payroll) tax the company car using the 1% rule (no other solution possible AND I do NOT keep a logbook), in addition to a fixed amount for private use deducted on my payroll and also my leasing contribution for the "desired model and equipment", as it is above the reference vehicle.
In total, this amounts to 766.92 EUR/year for the private use of the company car, 2282.87 EUR for the car leasing rate from my personal share, and yes, still the 1% taxation.
Can I somehow declare my personal expenses in the tax return to reduce the tax burden?

I would like to thank you in advance for your response and look forward to it.

Best regards

Dear inquirer,

Thank you for your inquiry, which I will be happy to answer as part of an initial consultation.

Please note that the tax assessment is based on the information provided. Adding, changing, or omitting information can potentially change the result, possibly significantly.

You can of course deduct the payments you have made when determining the taxable income.

Simply create an Excel table listing the amounts and claim them as "other advertising costs" under the designation "contribution for company car use."

Best regards,
