Thank you for your inquiry, which I would like to answer based on the information provided and in the context of your request for initial consultation as follows:

In general, income tax returns must be filed by May 31st of the following year. This deadline is extended to December 31st of the following year if the taxpayer is advised by a tax advisor.

However, as long as the statute of limitations has not expired, you can still submit your income tax returns for 2009 and 2010 to the tax office. Since the statute of limitations for tax assessment has not expired for 2009 or 2010, you can still submit your income tax returns for those years to the tax office. Therefore, fill out the respective forms on paper or through ELSTER and submit the income tax returns to the relevant tax office.

I would like to remind you that the tax office may impose a late filing penalty due to the delayed submission. This is especially likely if there is a tax payment due.
