Real estate purchase by Swiss GmbH in Germany
Background:
I would like to acquire real estate together with a colleague in Germany through a GbR (partnership) which can be partially rented out but also sold for profit. My business partner in the GbR is German and I live in Switzerland.
Question:
Is it possible for me to participate in the GbR through a Swiss GmbH (limited liability company) and what are the tax implications of this; i.e. which taxes do I have to pay in Germany and Switzerland (double taxation)?
