New acceptance scooter with a different cylinder

Hello.. I am planning to modify my scooter.. The reason for this are the hilly roads here.. Can I install a different cylinder (more powerful cylinder) in my scooter so that it has more power.. I have the possibility to maintain the prescribed speed even with a stronger cylinder, as the scooter is electronically limited by a speedometer and not, as usual, by the RPM. The limiter cuts off the ignition as soon as it would drive faster than 45 km/h and thus maintains the speed of 45 km/h no matter what changes are made to the engine.. It would never drive faster than 45 km/h..
Is it possible to have a single approval at the TÜV? And would that be possible at all?
Best regards
Hello, regarding the question: Does the "other cylinder" have an EC type-approval?
This part should actually have it. I assume the answer is yes, as otherwise the installation is strongly advised against (which could have legal consequences!).
Also:
If modifications are made that require the above-mentioned approvals or are not registered, this may result in the loss of operating approval if emissions and noise levels are affected!
If the cylinder has an EC type-approval, that should be sufficient. However, in practice, not all police officers are familiar with this. Therefore, I can only recommend always carrying the EC type-approval with the vehicle documents.
An individual approval/parts certificate can be obtained from TÜV, DEKRA, or another suitable organization. This way, you have double security; but you will also have to bear the costs. It is not necessary, but still: better safe than sorry.
If there is no EC type-approval,
make sure to get a parts certificate and always carry it with you.
I hope this helps. Have a great day.
