I wanted to inquire about what type of weapons can be held in Germany at the age of 18/under 18?? I am actually addicted to weapons. However, I am not up to date on the current constitution.

Your question may I answer based on the situation you described and taking into account your input as follows:

The possession and carrying of weapons in Germany is regulated by the Weapons Act and the corresponding administrative regulations.

According to these regulations, a distinction is made between weapons requiring a permit and weapons that are permit-free.

In principle, all weapons that have a muzzle energy of over 7.5 joules require a permit, meaning a firearms possession card is required for acquisition and a firearms license is required for carrying.

This includes, of course, all "sharp" weapons, such as hunting shotguns, sports firearms, pistols, and shotguns.

Even for gas pistols, which can only be purchased from the age of 18, a so-called small firearms license is required for carrying.

Individuals under 18 years of age may only acquire airsoft weapons up to a muzzle energy of 0.5 joules without special permission. These include gas- or spring-powered toy guns for shooting plastic pellets.

There are also prohibited items, such as brass knuckles, steel rods, nun chakus, etc., which may not be carried regardless of age.
