Alleged mandatory registration at Outlets.de

Today I received a bill from "outlets.de" or ICONTENT GMBH in Rodgau by mail. I am supposed to pay €96.00 in advance for a 12-month access to www.outlets.de. The text reads: "Thank you for your interest and your paid registration on 22.01.2011 at www.outlets.de. Since you did not exercise your two-week right of withdrawal after registration, we are pleased that our offer www.outlets.de has met with your approval. The above claim was assigned by IContent GmbH to ProPayment GmbH. Please transfer the invoice amount of €96.00 to the account provided by 28.02.2011 to discharge the debt. Please transfer the above amount within the specified deadline to avoid incurring additional reminder costs. You can log in directly at outlets.de using the following link: http://www.Outlets.de/login/8909318119938. If you have any questions... our customer hotline is available to assist you."

If you do not remember signing up or consciously visiting this website, you should contact the company to dispute the charges and request further information regarding the registration process.

Dear inquirer,

You should not pay and inform outlets.de about this. For this purpose, I have selected a sample letter from the Consumer Advice Center for you. Fill in your personal data and send it to "outlets.de".

Best regards,

Your unjustified claim
Invoice No./ Customer No.
Dear Sir or Madam,
With a letter dated .................., you are claiming an amount of ............ Euro from me for the alleged use of an internet service. Please note that I have not entered into a paid contract with you. If you think otherwise, please prove to me when and how a contract was supposed to have been concluded, how you have informed and instructed me according to the legal provisions on distance selling.
After reviewing your website, I have noticed that the price information is hidden, apparently with the intention of remaining unnoticed. It appears that the service is offered for free. Furthermore, there is a lack of sufficient cancellation information.
I hereby challenge the allegedly concluded contract as a precaution due to fraudulent deception. Additionally, I revoke this contract alternatively in accordance with the regulations on distance selling contracts. As a precaution, I declare the cancellation due to a misunderstanding about the content of the declarations of intent given, alternatively terminate it without notice.
I expressly deny your claim according to § 28a para. 1 No. 4d Federal Data Protection Act. The transmission of my personal data regarding a claim is thus inadmissible. In case of violations, I reserve all legal options against you. You should refrain from threats of unfounded criminal charges, as I also reserve the right to take legal action against you.
I will not make any payment.
Best regards
