To the clinic?
Good evening, about 1.5 years ago I felt a slight stabbing pain on the left side of my abdomen, just below the last rib, and went to see a doctor. The examination was done very quickly (questions and blood test) and I was told everything was fine. This year, the stabbing pains started again. Blood was taken and the values of my kidney were borderline in 08/2017 and are now outside the normal range. At that time, I already suspected it could be the kidney. I also noticed the higher potassium value (5.5) in this year's test, which could explain sudden, sporadic tinnitus and a metallic taste. I have also experienced muscle twitches, which I initially attributed to sports. I am starting to worry now. I have an appointment with a urologist in two weeks (money rules the world > I would get one immediately if it were private). An ultrasound showed a "dark spot" on the left kidney. I am also extremely tired.
I have a very healthy diet (no processed sugar or sugar in general), no ready-made meals but only homemade dishes, lots of lean protein, fish, whole and complex carbohydrates, fruit in moderation, lots of vegetables (80% raw) and I drink 4-5 liters of water a day (depending on whether it's a day with sports or not). I haven't taken any medication in 8 years (not a single pill), I am vaccinated against everything (twice > in my home country and here), and my HIV test was negative. The last time I had a cold was in December, with symptoms lasting only one day. I ate raw ginger and lemon and then felt fine again. I had been standing in the cold for a long time and was also chilled.
I have my lab results and ultrasound images. Would it be better to go to the hospital instead?
