MRI without findings, exostosis cruciate ligament
Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you in advance for this great service.
Due to strong knee pain for 2 weeks, an MRI was ordered. It was found that there is an exostosis at the knee joint and the medial meniscus is torn.
During the manual examination, a so-called drawer was detected in the knee, but no cruciate ligament tear was visible on the MRI. What reasons could this drawer have? Since I have pain when turning and going down stairs.
Could it be that the knee needs to be in a certain position during the MRI scan to detect the cruciate ligaments?
Unfortunately, the pain does not go away, despite wearing a brace. What other options should I consider?
Thank you very much.
