Hip and back

I have had a bad hip for 3 years now, and now my discs are starting to hurt as well, so I feel pain in my lower back. I no longer have health insurance, I am 62 years old, and I am wondering if there are injections available for the pain? Currently taking 2 Dicol 75 and possibly 2 Paracetamol 500.
Hello,
Due to prolonged hip pain, a protective posture can become fixed, leading to damage to the spine and premature spondylarthrosis, as well as herniated discs. Effective pain therapy is sensible and necessary in the acute stage. Unfortunately, this does not eliminate the cause, neither the arthrosis in the hip joints nor in the small vertebral joints or even a herniated disc.
Pain injections are always of limited duration. Paracetamol can cause liver damage over a longer period of time. Diclofenac and ibuprofen can damage the stomach lining and cause kidney function impairment. Therefore, it is advisable to refrain from permanent pain treatment if the cause is not addressed.
There are well-tolerated but potentially addictive painkillers from the opioid group: Tramadol, Targin, or Fentanyl (as drops, prolonged-release tablets, or patches). These work excellently, but are subject to narcotics legislation and require a prescription, can lead to physical dependence, and trigger constipation.
Please discuss this specifically with your primary care physician, as these medications must be prescribed on a controlled substance prescription.
All the best!
