Tongue cancer caused by biting the tongue

Good day, I have a bad habit of nibbling on my tongue as a way to relieve stress. I do it almost every minute. About once a month, I bite deeper into my tongue, but the daily biting or nibbling is constant. It no longer hurts because the rough surface of my tongue has already been chewed off. I am already in psychological treatment, but I am worried about the possibility of developing cancer as a result. Can you tell me if you consider this to be cancer-causing? Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Franziska M.
