Ask a doctor on the topic of Oncology

IgG levels

Hello,

I had a similar question before and would like to ask it more specifically. I already have an appointment with an oncologist/hematologist ... but that's still a while away and the uncertainty is really bothering me.

I am 61 years old, male ... in the last 7-8 months I had extremely large boils and abscesses, the size of goose eggs ... 5 of them alone on my head. Furthermore, a small scratch on the middle toe of my right foot turned into a "monster infection" within a few hours, doubling the size of my foot. The same thing happened with a boil behind my right ear, causing my head to swell disproportionately.

Everything was treated surgically and I took antibiotics for months.

A doctor took me in and initial tests revealed a vitamin D deficiency, which was initially considered as the cause of the boils.

However, the subsequent foot infection was so severe that the doctor performed an immune diagnostics.

The result of the IgG subclasses prompted my doctor to refer me to oncology/hematology.

IgG-1 = 504
IgG-2 = 434
IgG-3 = 19.5
IgG-4 = 164

Since my doctor only mentioned the low IgG3 value, I thought that my problem might be treatable with infusions.

Then I noticed the elevated IgG4 value and Google made me very nervous (cancer, drastically shortened lifespan, etc.).

My question is, can you provide an approximate interpretation of the above 4 values?

Thank you very much.
