Condition after surgery for lung adenoma
My husband was operated on for a lung adenoma in December of last year. The tumor was over 6 cm in size, located in the middle lobe and parts of the upper and lower lobes. All affected tissue was removed. Prophylactically, he underwent chemotherapy. He still suffers from shortness of breath and has had a lot of yellow sputum. For the past few days, the sputum has been brown. Is this normal? Before the surgery, he had an empyema and the doctor had to operate on an existing infection.
