Risk group for swine flu
Good morning.
When it comes to vaccinations of any kind, there is always talk of risk groups. Are factors such as profession, chronic illnesses, or age alone determining factors for this?
How high is the risk of vaccination for those with existing mild illnesses? For example, a slight cold, mild arthritis, hay fever, or occasional other allergies. Does the risk of vaccination decrease for these groups when using a vaccine without adjuvants? If the answer is "yes," can my doctor then decide which vaccine to administer, or is he obligated to give me the vaccine meant for the "normal" population?
I thank you in advance for your response.
