Opipramol detection drug test pre-employment examination

Good evening,

I have a pre-employment medical examination coming up.
There is likely to be a drug test.
I have been taking Opipramol (prescribed by a specialist) for about 4 months.
Will this medication show up in a drug test and could it be to my disadvantage?

Thank you in advance!

Dr. med Ralf von Seckendorff

Hello,

Opipramol is usually not detected in drug tests, which usually test for illegal drugs and benzodiazepine group sleep medications, to which Opipramol does not belong.

Best regards
