Hello,
I am currently taking Lorazepam 4 mg as a single dose as needed for acute anxiety. (High dose, as medications generally need to be dosed higher, also due to my obesity)
How much of the following alternative medications would I need to take in order to have the same effect as Lorazepam 4mg?

- Diazepam 10mg
- TRANXILIUM 10 mg
- Alprazolam 2mg

Hello!
In the private setting, the maximum dose of Tavor is 2.5 mg as a single dose. This should only be exceeded in the case of inpatient therapy (in exceptional cases). Therefore, I cannot provide a recommendation compared to 4 mg of Tavor.
Furthermore, the active ingredients also differ in their effects, indications, and dosage forms.
Simply discuss your concerns with your treating physician, as they will need to prescribe the medication for you anyway.
