Unclear symptoms
For 4 weeks now, I have been experiencing unclear symptoms. Initially, I felt like I was going to faint and had a pressure sensation in my chest. It was then discovered that my blood pressure was much too high (I have been taking Ramipril 5, Ramipril 5/25, and Amlodipine for 3 years). My medication was adjusted and the next day I was referred back to my primary care physician. He determined that my blood pressure was optimal and suggested that a thoracic spine blockade could also cause such symptoms. So I went to the orthopedist who adjusted me, but without success. Over time, I also began experiencing mild dizziness and headaches, and during the holidays I consulted a stand-in doctor. He tapped my head and said my blood pressure was okay. The Saturday after New Year's was the climax. A feeling in my throat, as if I had swallowed a tomato skin, was added to my symptoms. So I went back to the ENT specialist with my health insurance. He said my mouth and throat were fine, as was my larynx. He prescribed me Omeprazole as a precaution. The next day, my blood pressure was elevated again and I went to the hospital. I was referred to a cardiologist, who found no issues with my heart and adjusted my medication (Ramipril 5 three times a day, Ramipril 5/25, Amlodipine 5, Beloc zok 1/2, Omeprazole 40mg twice a day, Amoxicillin three times a day). However, my symptoms persist, with the feeling of difficulty swallowing still present but not as severe. I still feel internal tension. I am trying to be mindful of my stomach and eat less. I also have pain in my spine. I am now scheduled to have my thyroid examined, but the appointments are taking time. Perhaps it is indeed related to my stomach, as I initially suspected. My question is: Can I ask my primary care physician to admit me to a hospital for further evaluation, as my mental health is also starting to deteriorate after this ongoing marathon of symptoms?
