Possible appendicitis?

Dear Sir or Madam,

On Sunday, I had some intestinal problems, experiencing abdominal pain twice for about 30 minutes each time and having diarrhea about 3 times. It started at 9 in the morning and improved by noon. I never felt nauseous, had to vomit, or had constant abdominal pain. The pain disappeared immediately after going to the bathroom. After that, I took it easy, and yesterday my bowel movements were less frequent (although I also ate less) but normal. I don't know where it could have come from because I hadn't eaten that day, but I have a lot of stress.

However, today I still don't feel 100%. I don't have a fever (orally measured at 36.9), but I feel like my right side of the abdomen feels like a muscle is strained or stretched, although I haven't done any sports in that sense. The abdominal wall is not tight, I can jump on one leg without pain, I can press on my stomach without sudden pain. I haven't done sports for a long time, just went for a walk yesterday and the day before for about 2 hours each day.

I don't have any painful movement restrictions, no abdominal pain, and a normal appetite. Unfortunately, I googled it and found out that you can have appendicitis without pain and symptoms. Now I'm afraid that I might have it and not notice it until it ruptures. However, I don't want to rush to my doctor and then find out there's nothing wrong, taking away the place from more important patients.

Now to my questions:

1) Could it be appendicitis and should I see my doctor?
2) Do appendicitis without abdominal pain occur frequently and are symptoms more like side pains similar to a strained muscle?
3) Can you survive a ruptured appendix and what are the chances?

Kind regards.

Hello,

An appendicitis is extremely unlikely, as the symptoms are not sufficient. It always comes with abdominal pain.

With the help available in Germany, a ruptured appendix is survived in about 95% of cases.
