Interaction between Falithrom and Phlogenzym
December 30, 2011 | 20,00 EUR | answered by Christian Welsch
Take Marcumar or Falithrom only urgently because of a payment problem with Phlogenzym. Can I still take it (special caution in the package insert)? I measure my INR myself - do I need to possibly decrease the dosage of Marcumar?
Since I can no longer reach a doctor today, I hope for a very quick response.
Thank you,
Martina Kasbauer
Dear Mrs. Kasbauer,
I would see this as non-critical, according to the Red List Phlogenzym should only be used with caution in cases of severe congenital coagulation disorders or liver damage. I did not find any interactions with Marcumar.
Since the medication has a herbal base, nothing should happen, especially if you continue to monitor your INR.
Regards, C. Welsch
