Questions about ferritin levels

I have a question, my ferritin levels have been elevated for 1 year. The normal values are 35-217 µg/l, and my value is 459 µg/l. My doctor is not reacting to it.

If you are a man, a ferritin level of up to 500 is normal, so in this case there is no reason to worry. If you are a woman, the level is too high. In that case, one should look for an iron absorption disorder, e.g. due to a vitamin B12 deficiency. An iron storage disease should also be ruled out.
