Am I infertile?

Hello,

I am writing with a fairly desperate concern. First, about me: I am 24 years old, 1.68 m tall, 56 kg, non-smoker, no alcohol, moderate stress at work (I am a person who takes things to heart, thinks a lot, and drives myself crazy), sensitive person, many allergies, react to almost everything, cycle is 28-36 days long and lasts for 5 days. I do not take the pill (not considering taking one). This time, my period even skipped for the first time. Ultrasound was okay, but the doctor said it looks like the uterus "forgot" the period. No cysts. I had strong PMS symptoms during my visit to the gynecologist, with very swollen breasts. She also noticed this and said that something is responsible for it.

Because of the missed period, we did a hormone test on the 46th day, and I finally got my period back on the 51st day. My gynecologist said everything is okay. I requested a copy and do not think everything is okay. Since I am not completely ignorant and somewhat knowledgeable, I am asking here (my gynecologist is on vacation from now on).

She said there is suspicion of PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). Now you can see my current blood values attached. Testosterone is borderline elevated. The rest seems okay, but I do not understand the evaluation. He writes:

Prolactin is within the normal range. The gonadotropins are unremarkable in a luteal phase recorded here. Testosterone is borderline elevated. DHEAS is within the normal range. There is currently no typical picture for PCOS. There has been a certain delay in ovulation and subsequently a formally intact corpus luteum function. The cycle disorder would be classified as hypothalamic-pituitary eugonadotropic feedback disorder. This means that in the case of a desire to have children, ovulation induction with Clomiphene could be performed.

He first writes that I had ovulated and then says that if I want children, I should take Clomiphene to induce ovulation. These are total contradictions. Did I ovulate or not? Why should I take Clomiphene, and how do we know if I had ovulated?

I currently do not want children, but maybe soon, in a year, and it affects me even more that there are doubts about my ability to have children, and this finding confuses me. Why do they tell me everything is okay, and then I read about Clomiphene, ovulation, and various disorders?

Please shed light on this darkness and enlighten me. I am very grateful, as my nerves are currently on edge. Should I do another hormone test? And if everything is okay, why do I have a testosterone level of 0.62? Could stress be

Good evening,
first of all, to reassure you, the values are completely normal!!!! With PCO, the typical cysts in the ovaries would have been visible on the ultrasound, and as far as I have read, everything was OK on the ultrasound. It is also normal for the menstrual cycle to be irregular without the pill and for ovulation not to occur every month, as humans are not machines and hormones are very sensitive to stress.
The mention of Clomiphene is always included in the hormone results, as hormones are usually determined for fertility purposes, and it is a standard text block that is often used - you yourself noticed that it does not match the result (ovulation has occurred). I often have the same problem with results that come back from the lab... they are various text blocks and no one reads the entire picture. That is why your doctor tells you that everything is fine... because it is.
So please remain calm, as there is currently no urgent need for fertility treatment. If PMS is bothering you, you can take Mastodynon (homeopathic drops) from the pharmacy to help manage it.
And next year, practice diligently and then you will be successful with having a baby.

All the best
