Question about Lupus and additional inquiry
Hello again Mrs. Gehring. So far, there has been no feedback after the check-up, so everything should have been quite stable and nothing further dramatic.
However, I do have 2 small things that I would like you to give me some feedback on.
I am a Lupus patient and take medication for it, and I have heard that the oral mucosa can also be affected. I have noticed (over a period of more than 6 months) areas that look similar to canker sores, but sometimes more like lines (white lines). These tend to occur more frequently on one evening, usually after spicy foods, but sometimes regardless. When I use mouthwash, they disappear quite quickly, which reassures me. However, I still wonder, is this due to Lupus? Otherwise, oral lichen seems quite common, but I lack the web-like appearance described on the internet. I am afraid of Behcet's disease, is this an absurd fear? It is very rare in Western countries and I do not have other symptoms. But these things still scare me, especially the fact that it can be more severe in young men....
And a quick question about Corona, I think it is currently very unlikely to get it, but for the past 4-5 days I have had a slight irritation in my bronchi, not a real cough, but more of a tickle. Probably just a minor infection, right?
Thank you and best regards.
