Lab value

Hello,
last week, during a health check-up, a small blood test was done on me (39 years old, male). A year ago, all values were fine, but now my triglycerides were at 750!!, both cholesterol levels are normal. I have a normal weight, drink very little alcohol, and eat healthily. I have been doing cardio and strength training 2-3 times a week for the past six months. The doctor said it's not a problem and I should have the value checked again in 3 months. Is this okay or do I need to take immediate action? Thank you.
Good morning,
I suspect that this value is a laboratory error and since you are feeling well and the other cholesterol/fat values are also normal, a follow-up in 3 months is justified.
I want to reassure you. Eat a balanced diet, rich in vitamins through fresh fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of tea or water/fruit juices.
Then the value will surely be normal at the next determination.
Just to add:
An elevated triglyceride level is found after consuming alcohol and a fatty meal. Therefore, at least 16 hours before the determination, do not eat anything and do not drink alcohol, otherwise the values will be elevated.
All the best
