Cancer caused by gasoline?
Hello,
I already asked a question in July last year about inhaling benzene.

Here I have already described my fear that I may have inhaled gasoline or benzene, as there was occasionally a slight gasoline smell in my car - even though the car was checked and the mechanic said it couldn't smell like gasoline. My father also claims that it smells a bit, but in his opinion, not like gasoline.
Well, since then I have driven several times in the car, because through airing etc. the smell actually went away and I didn't smell anything for months. Yesterday I noticed the smell very strongly again (whenever it is very hot and the car was in the sun, the smell seems to be very strong). However, I had to drive the car, for about an hour. I did that, but with the driver's and side windows completely open. Today the same, again for about an hour.
Nevertheless, I am now afraid that airing was not enough or that I inhaled gasoline. Even worse: I am afraid that the gasoline smell (even if I no longer perceived it) was never completely gone, and that I have been inhaling this stuff in small amounts for months now.
Therefore, I wanted to ask: have I now exposed myself to a risk of cancer, even if the amount of gasoline or the smell was very small? Because inhaling gasoline or benzene is supposed to be carcinogenic, right?
