Which cream for the face is suitable for seborrheic dermatitis and rosacea?

Good day,

A bit about me:

I am 35 years old and have been suffering from rosacea and seborrheic eczema on my face since I was 16 years old. I have also had several courses of isotretinoin treatments for my severe acne (on my back and face).

My question is:

I have dry skin on my face that flakes and feels tight/red if I don't moisturize it. However, on the other hand, it becomes very "greasy" and "shiny" due to the rich cream prescribed by my dermatologist (as a night cream).

As a day cream, I use the La Roche Posay Effaclar MAT cream. It mattifies the skin beautifully, but unfortunately I find that it tends to dry out my skin.

Could you recommend a cream that has a strong mattifying effect but does not dry out the skin?

Thank you very much!

Good evening,

it is unfortunately not guaranteed that the first tip is immediately correct, so please ask if necessary.

First option: Use the night cream that works well for you, but apply it very thinly and then apply a mattifying makeup on top.
Second option: Mix the two products, for example in equal parts (mix on a small plate, then apply).
Third option: Use a base cream for the day, apply it immediately after showering, and just before leaving the house, use a mattifying cream. You can get the base cream at the pharmacy. If necessary, the pharmacist can add an active ingredient against rosacea - on prescription from the dermatologist.

Please let me know if things are not going as you wish.

Have a nice evening.
