Purchase of residential property by an existing GbR?
I run an office with my friend (self-employed, freelance, 50/50). The legal form is a GbR (partnership under civil law). Now we intend to buy residential property. Are there any legal hurdles, etc., that fundamentally prohibit the acquisition of residential property by the existing GbR (purpose advertising agency)? Afterwards, we would like to rent the apartment to ourselves privately and use it. Is this generally possible? The registration of a GbR in the land register is now possible with some effort, so we are particularly interested in whether this is possible with existing GbRs that were already founded for a specific purpose.
