Rights of the daughter

Hello,
After completing an apprenticeship and studying, my daughter has no desire to work. She wants to live on social welfare benefits (Harz4) for the rest of her life and rely on basic provisions in old age.
Question:
Can a government agency use my retirement income and assets to provide the above-mentioned benefits?
Who will inherit after my passing, the government agency or my daughter?
Dear seeker of advice,
Thank you for your inquiry.
I would like to answer it as follows:
If your daughter is of legal age, she does not have a claim to maintenance based on your description.
If your daughter receives Hartz IV benefits, the office cannot reclaim these payments from you through your pension or assets.
In general, the heirs have a claim to your inheritance. These are the individuals you have named as heirs in a will or (if there is no will) the legal heirs.
If at the time of inheritance you are neither married nor have other children, your daughter would then be the sole heir according to legal succession.
I hope to have provided you with an initial legal orientation and wish you much success and all the best!
I would like to point out the following to you:
