Is advertising for psychological counseling allowed?
Hello,
I will soon be opening an online practice for psychological counseling and dementia support.
I would like to have flyers printed for this purpose. I have recently learned about the German Advertising in the Health Care System Act, which prohibits the advertising of medications, therapy methods, etc.
Since I am not a naturopath and do not have a healing permit, I will of course comply with this regulation. I do not provide healing services, but rather offer counseling and support in life issues. I use various conversation techniques and other methods (such as the Wheel of Life), but no healing methods.
My question: Am I allowed to advertise my services through flyers, ads, and car stickers? Thank you very much in advance and I wish you all the best!
