ensuring Rottweiler town hall

Hello.

My female Rottweiler, 13 months old, has not been noticeable so far. She is a sweet and calm Rottweiler, and has been sitting in the animal shelter for a week now after being seized by the local authorities. The problem was that I did not have a permit to keep her, and I also did not have the current expertise for the Rottweiler I have now. I had a Rottweiler mix before, who unfortunately passed away last summer. I still had a valid expertise certificate for him, but I did not realize that this certificate only applied to that specific dog, I thought it applied to all dogs.
On Monday, August 10, 2015, I went to the local authorities to apply for a temporary permit to keep her. The conversation went well, I provided all the documents I have for my current dog, such as liability insurance, dog tax proof, TASSO registration proof, and purchase contract. They told me that they would call me the next day, August 11, 2015, but I have not received a single call until today. I don't know what is going on now and if I will get my dog back. The longer my dog stays in the shelter, the more expensive it will be for me, as the shelter costs are not cheap.

Dear inquirer,

Whether the documents provided are sufficient to obtain a proficiency certificate for your new female dog cannot be verified based on the information provided so far.

In principle, the permission to keep the dog due to proven proficiency is an administrative act.

If the requested administrative act is not granted, you can file a lawsuit with the Administrative Court according to § 75 VwGO. However, this is only possible if the local regulatory authority has not made a decision on your application within 3 months.

In the meantime, the only option is to regularly send inquiries about the status to the regulatory authority.

Best regards,
