Impact of a sports accident recognition by the health insurance on an ongoing disability insurance to be concluded.

Hello,
my son had a sports accident and had to undergo surgery twice on his collarbone. Since the doctor said that this area of the bone (plate and screws) will remain a sensitive point for the rest of his life, we have approached the accident insurance to assess the case. This will be done soon by a medical expert from the insurance company. So far so good. Whether it is accepted or not, the important thing would be the IMPACT of recognition as a sports accident.
QUESTION: what would be better for a future-proof occupational disability insurance, that the accident is legally recognized, or rejected by the accident insurance? This is not about "manipulation", but rather about whether a sports accident could be an advantage when taking out an occupational disability insurance policy! It is likely that the question is nonsense, as all accidents must be disclosed, but perhaps the expert has a recommendation/trap/idea/advice to show? THANK YOU!
Dear inquirer,
Thank you for your request in the legal field.
I am attorney Jasmin Pesla and
I would like to answer your question as follows:
For a disability insurance to be concluded, it is irrelevant
whether the injuries are recognized as sports accidents or not.
In the case of disability insurance, your son must disclose EVERYTHING,
and by everything, I really mean everything:
Every cold, every sniffle, every sick leave, etc.
Therefore, it is much more important that before concluding a disability insurance,
he requests a complete list of his treatments from his
health insurance, so that he does not overlook anything.
Because even a few, seemingly insignificant
data can determine whether the insurance will cover
in the event of disability or not. The insurance could even use it as a reason
to deny coverage. Therefore, my urgent
appeal, as no one remembers every cold from 20/30 years ago: Your son should obtain his insurance statement so that nothing is overlooked.
