Wound care of adhesive surgical scars with SteriStrips

Good evening, our son had a median neck cyst and an earlobe removed last week (10 days ago). The neck was glued and a large Steri-Strip was placed above the incision. There is a self-dissolving thread on the ear and Steri-Strips on top of it. On Monday we will see the ENT doctor for a wound healing check - he was not operated on by this doctor, but was referred. The Steri-Strips are still firmly in place. There seems to have been some bleeding under the strip on the neck after the operation (a pressure bandage was placed over it). I suspect that the strip is practically sticking to the scar and would like to know the best way to remove the strips with surgical skill without causing any further damage (should they be removed at all?), whether the strips on the ear should also be removed, despite the stitches, and how the scars should be further treated. Should they be kept moist or left open to air? The patient is 4 years old and we can temporarily protect him from dirt, water, and sun - should we cover anything if we want to eventually send him back to daycare? The wounds are dry (possibly crust formation on the neck?). I could ask the doctor all of this on Monday, but I prefer to know beforehand what to watch out for - before someone just rips the strips off. Thank you very much and kind regards.

Dear questioner, please leave the strips on for a week, and let the ENT specialist decide if they can be removed. I believe the wound of the neck cyst was also sewn subcutaneously, which should not be glued. What you describe all sounds normal. Do you have any questions?
