Hormone treatment

How should a short-term hormone therapy with testosterone tablets (40 mg) look like in men? (Dosage, timing of intake, quantity and discontinuation) in order to stimulate the body's own production and get the production going? The values in the blood test are slightly below the normal range, so that the symptoms of low levels can be felt.
When taking exogenously administered testosterone, they do not stimulate the body's own production in any way, on the contrary. Testosterone is regulated by a control system. If they administer testosterone from the outside without a significant deficiency, for example due to (partial) orchidectomy or genetic enzyme defects, this will reduce the body's own production. This leads to noticeable reduction in testicular volume and gynecomastia (enlargement of the male breast), as well as a significantly increased risk of cancer.
Even lower levels of serum testosterone may be individually without pathological significance for you (keyword receptor density). You can describe the symptoms that you suspect are due to testosterone deficiency. You can naturally boost testosterone levels with zinc supplements, strength training, and regular sexual activity.
If you do not want to stop supplementation, consider withdrawal symptoms. Gradually taper off the medication.
Testosterone is usually administered by injection. 250mg every 3 weeks. The dosage for 40mg tablets is taken for several weeks at 3-4 doses per day, and then adjusted to 1-3 doses per day based on the effects. If the levels are only slightly low, I recommend taking only 1 dose per day. Another common form of administration is through gel.
I recommend monitoring the progress first, otherwise you may end up doing more harm than you think you are benefiting.
