Dizziness and pain

Hello,
Occasionally, irregularly, it happens that while I am walking the dog or at work, I suddenly experience a sharp pain above my left chest (about a hand's width below the collarbone), which only lasts for 1 to 5 minutes and then goes away. At that moment, I become afraid. Could this be coming from my heart or rather from a muscle? Also, when I breathe, it hurts a lot.
I am a 29-year-old female who is very active daily, both privately and professionally.
Thank you for your response.
Best regards
Dear questioner,
As you describe the events, there is actually only one musculoskeletal cause for your complaints. The symptoms do not suggest a cardiac event directly.
If you have another attack, try stretching and pressing hard, press and massage this area with your hand, and see if this ends the event. In general, the intercostal nerves or the spine are behind it.
All these statements are of course subject to the fact that I unfortunately cannot physically examine you over the internet.
Best regards, Dr. R. Berg
