How can I increase my fertility naturally?

Dear team of the online consultation,

my name is Sophia Vollmann and I am 32 years old. For some time now, I have been intensively dealing with the topic of fertility, as my partner and I wish to have a child. Unfortunately, we have not had any success so far and I am starting to worry if it could possibly be related to my fertility.

I have already collected various information on the internet, but I am unsure about which measures can actually help. I eat healthily, exercise regularly, and make sure to get enough sleep. However, I wonder if there are other natural ways to increase my fertility.

I have read that certain foods, such as spinach, avocado or salmon, can positively influence fertility. Are there any other foods that I should incorporate into my diet? I am also interested in whether certain herbs or supplements could be helpful.

Furthermore, I have read that stress can have a negative impact on fertility. Since I am very busy professionally, I am already trying to actively incorporate relaxation techniques such as yoga or meditation. Are there any other measures I could take to reduce my stress levels?

I am very curious to hear your assessment and would appreciate if you could give me some recommendations on how I can increase my fertility naturally. Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Sophia Vollmann

Dear Sophia Vollmann,

thank you for your message and your trust in our online consultation. It is understandable that you are concerned about your fertility, especially if you are wishing to have a child and have not had success so far.

It is commendable that you already maintain healthy habits such as a balanced diet, regular exercise, and sufficient sleep. These factors do indeed play an important role in fertility. It is true that certain foods can have a positive impact on fertility. In addition to spinach, avocado, and salmon, there are many other foods that you could incorporate into your diet. These include nuts, berries, whole grains, legumes, eggs, and low-fat dairy products. These foods provide important nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can be beneficial for fertility.

When it comes to herbs and supplements, it is advisable to seek advice from experts before taking them, as not all products are safe and effective. Some herbs such as lady's mantle or raspberry leaves can indeed help regulate the menstrual cycle and support fertility. Supplements like folic acid, vitamin D, and omega-3 fatty acids can also have a positive effect.

Regarding stress, it is good that you already practice relaxation techniques such as yoga and meditation. Other measures to reduce stress levels could include taking regular breaks during work, walks in nature, autogenic training, or breathing exercises. A balanced work-life balance is also crucial to avoid stress.

It is important to also seek medical advice to investigate possible causes for a lack of pregnancy so far. A gynecologist can recommend further tests and give individual recommendations on how to specifically promote your fertility.

I hope this information is helpful to you and wish you success on your journey to fulfilling your desire for children. If you have any further questions, I am happy to help.

Best regards,

Simon Hinze
