Stomach problem

Hello, I have very severe stomach pains and have been sent by my general practitioner for a gastroscopy. It was found that I have increased stomach acid production. However, I was also told that nothing specific could be found. My symptoms would be described as: strong pressure in the upper and middle abdomen, pain decreases in different sitting or lying positions. I was prescribed pantoprazole, but it has not been effective. I feel as if I have muscle soreness in my stomach. Furthermore, since this stomach problem, I feel like I am in a constant state of flu.
Hello,
Unfortunately, you do not say how long you have been taking Pantoprazole. Sometimes the effects may only occur after a few days. It is already the right medication.
If you have further pain, stomach cramps may also be responsible in addition to the acidity. In that case, you should also take Buscopan (which is herbal and available without a prescription), for example, 1-2 tablets every 6 hours.
Warmth and light meals without acids, pepper, alcohol, and nicotine are also advisable until the stomach lining has calmed down again.
I hope this will help you. With best regards, Dr. R. Berg.
