Hello,
I would like to register as an affiliate partner to promote products on the internet. How does it work with the sales tax and how can I obtain a sales tax ID?

Dear seeker of advice,

the VAT ID must be applied for at the Federal Central Tax Office using the officially prescribed form, see www.bzst.de

If you are not a small business owner and provide services in Germany, your sales are subject to the standard tax rate of 19%. In contrast, the input tax deduction from received services applies.
