Invoice to tax-exempt company

Dear Sir or Madam,

My new client is completely tax exempt and comes from the education sector. I have registered a business, a VAT number, and so far always issued invoices with VAT. I have now been told that there is a possibility to issue invoices to this client without VAT if proof of the client's complete tax exemption can be provided. My activities are to be consulting and initiating cooperation.

I would appreciate a response by Monday, May 9, 2011 at the latest by 10.00 am, as contract negotiations will then begin.

If you provide a taxable service to your client, which I believe is the case here, there is no possibility for you to waive the VAT invoice.
