Hello,
I am a guarantor from Romania and have registered a commercial enterprise in Munich as a property management service. I have registered a residence in Munich with the registration authority, but I do not know how things will proceed and how long it will take. My question is: can I remain insured with health insurance in Romania and also have accident insurance here in Germany.

If you are temporarily or permanently living in Germany, it is mandatory to have health insurance for foreigners. There are different models and rates depending on the purpose and duration of your stay. The social regulations of Germany apply. You must seek advice from the health insurance company.

Regarding accident insurance, you are a mandatory member of the statutory accident insurance, which is the responsible occupational accident insurance association.
