Tax-free allowances for limited tax liability
October 22, 2014 | 35,00 EUR | answered by StB Patrick Färber
Hello,
a question regarding tax allowances for limited tax residents (living abroad without a residence in Germany): What exactly can I claim for tax purposes?
Child allowance: how much per child?
Work-related expenses: What exactly can I claim here?
School fees: I receive a subsidy of 87.5% from my company towards school fees of 8000 euros per child. How much of this can I deduct?
Capital life insurance in Germany: Can I deduct this?
Thank you very much.
Dear questioner,
I still need the following information to answer your question:
- What type of income are you subject to limited taxation in Germany (income from employment or other income as well?)
- Are you resident in an EU country?
- Is your spouse also subject to limited taxation in Germany, or does he/she only earn income abroad?
You will receive your answer upon answering my follow-up question!
Looking forward to hearing from you,
