Married couple tax splitting in Austria for cross-border commuters
Hello! My wife and I are both German citizens and work as employees in Germany, with my wife earning about 20% of our combined gross income and filing taxes jointly. We will be moving to Austria in June (with our main residence being close to the border) but will continue to earn our income in Germany. My question is: where do we need to pay taxes on our income and how does splitting work in Austria?
