Laundry drying in common property
We live in a newly built apartment building with 6 condominiums, 3 of which are occupied by owners and 1 is rented out. 2 have not been sold yet. The declaration of division designates a laundry and drying room in the building, which is small and requires the washing machine and dryer to be stacked on top of each other. In the adjacent basement corridor, the cellar rooms are demarcated with metal grilles as special property, with only partially existing small cellar windows.
Is an owner allowed to hang their laundry there? There is moisture evaporation with odor nuisance from the scented detergent. Is owner permission possible or necessary? Can the type of use be prohibited?
