thyroid nodule

I had my thyroid gland removed 20 years ago. I now only have a small stump on both sides. I have 3 small nodules at these exact spots now. In addition, my antibodies are slightly elevated. I am taking Euthyrox 75. My goal now is to get rid of these 3 nodules. Should I take iodine tablets? I am female and 61 years old.
