Redness on both cheeks

Hello, I have had redness and "pimples" on both sides of my cheeks for a long time. However, they are not real pimples, if I try to squeeze them, nothing comes out and it just gets even redder and swollen. Sometimes these pimples are there, sometimes the skin is smooth again, what could it be, I also have a photo of it. Can you recommend a cream that I can try out?
Many greetings

Dear inquirer,

It is very likely that this is acne rosacea. Please have this confirmed by a dermatologist in person. There are special antibiotic creams available that often show good results. Triggers for this condition can be certain hygiene products, sunlight, stress, and certain foods:

By avoiding triggers and using an antibiotic cream, there are good chances of improvement.
