Do I have to bear the legal costs for an out-of-court mediation myself?

I have a question regarding the legal costs for an out-of-court mediation and hope that you can assist me. In my case, I was involved in a dispute with my landlord and opted for an out-of-court mediation. My lawyer conducted the mediation and now I am wondering if I have to bear the legal costs for it.
For background information: I had issues with my landlord regarding a rent reduction due to defects in my apartment. Since I wanted to avoid a court dispute, I chose mediation. My lawyer accompanied and supported me throughout the entire process.
