Dental crowns

Hello,

I have received 5 new dental crowns. Four in the front upper teeth and one further back also on the top. Now, when I run my tongue along behind the crowns, everything feels rough. I can feel ridges and bumps. Is this normal? It is very bothersome. This did not happen with my old crowns, but they were defective after 30 years, so I got new ones. And then the 5th crown further back on the top has a crack between the gum and the crown, I always feel it with my tongue. What can be done? Thank you in advance.

Best regards

Hello, I would recommend going back to the dentist and complaining about it. The dentist usually has a way to polish it so that it is more comfortable for the tongue.
