Weber A Fracture

After a Weber A fracture, I wear a vacuum shoe and use 2 forearm crutches (lightly) when walking. Can I take off the shoe at night and wear an ankle brace instead? The shoe hinders me from sleeping and I often lie awake. I am 86 years old and live alone.
Good day,
the orthosis (Vacuum Shoe) must be worn both during the day and at night. The orthosis is like a cast, supporting and protecting your fracture all the time. Even while sleeping, joints can be stressed (unconsciously turning). This can lead to instability of the fracture.
All the best.
