Retinal detachment
Good day,
about 8 weeks ago, I had a retinal detachment in my right eye and was operated on in the hospital. (secured with a belt thread)
I am highly nearsighted. (probably the cause)
I have been regularly visiting the eye doctor and the retina is attached well. Everything seems to be okay except that I still have poor vision in the operated eye.
Can I go Alpine skiing for a few days in January or should I not do this? Is there a risk of injury in case of a fall? And how high can the mountain be?
We go skiing annually and that's why I don't know what to do now. I am scared.
Please help me.
Are there any activities I should avoid from now on?
Thank you,
Born
